We have finally been able to eat some of the corn that we had grown. The ears are really small, nothing like you see in the stores, but they were super delicious. Jack loved them! He ate several right off the stalk and could hardly wait until we boiled them. Add that to the cucumbers he inhales and all the other fruits and vegetables he consumes and he eats way better than any other person in this little family. Alex is a different story. He won’t eat anything. We have to feed him ourselves if we really want to get him to eat anything.
Anyways, the corn is really good and we still have plenty left that are getting bigger every day. Delicious!

You should try cooking you corn in the oven. You just pull back the outside but don't take it off. Clean off the silk, rub a little butter on it and close it back up. I usually put it on a baking sheet on about 350 for 20-30 min. So yummy!
Thanks for the tip April, I will definitely have to try that and see how my kids like it. It is just hard to get enough to actually prepare as the kids like to eat them right of the stalks! I can't complain though, at least they aren't eating candy and sweets.
